Robert O'Meara of J&R Farms organizes two consignment sales for Registered Texas Longhorns each year - one in the spring and one in the fall. Both sales are located near the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri to allow for Longhorn Breeder's in the Midwest to partake in a high caliber sale without traveling as far South as typically required.
Cataloged and non-cataloged animals are accepted and over 120 head are typically sold.
This year due to high gas prices the '08 spring sale, set for June 21st has been cancelled. Interested parties in the fall sale (date TBD) should contact Bob by phone or e-mail or visit the website for his sales at www.OzarkTexasLonghornSale.com.
